Experiment Fun at Home!

Objective
To engage in a new chemistry or physics experiment of your choice and present your findings to the class. We learned in science class that your findings can not only be written down but also presented! Word of mouth is the BEST form of communication in science!

Guideline Dates
January 11 (Friday): Lab Experiment Topic Due
January 25 (Friday): Completed lab experiment
January 25 (Friday): In Class time- Computer Lab
February 4 (Monday): Power Points Due
February 7 (Thursday): Beginning of Presentations

Project Procedure
1. Choose a lab experiment to conduct
2. Conduct Experiment at home
3. Use “Everything There is to Know about 8th Grade Lab Reports” packet guidelines to create 4. PowerPoint
5. Finalize Power Point
6. Present

PowerPoint Guideline
Your PowerPoint must be clearly organized just as if you were writing a lab report- using roman numerals and subtitles

What to Hand In Monday, February 4th
1. Copy of PowerPoint presentation (6 slides/page and black ink)
2. Sources Page (Minimum of 3)
